Police investigate explosions near Baltimore’s Penn Station early Sunday

A pair of loud explosions drew local and federal offices near Penn Station early Sunday morning.

No one was injured, and no property was damaged, Baltimore Police said. They deemed no additional threats to the area.

Officers responded around 5:35 a.m. to the 1500 block of Guilford Avenue in the Greenmount West neighborhood and found remnants of two exploded devices, police said. Officers moved a third device, which had not detonated, to a secure location, police said.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives also responded to the scene. The bureau and city police are working on “a very active and ongoing investigation,” according to police.
