Police arrest woman in connection to bank robbery at Hamden credit union

The Hamden Police Department arrested a Hamden woman in connection to a robbery at the Connex Credit Union on Wednesday afternoon.

Police charged Natalie Medor, 36, with third-degree robbery and second-degree larceny on Wednesday night.

Hamden officers responded to a reported robbery at the Connex Credit Union on Dixwell Avenue around 12:45 p.m. According to police, the suspect entered the credit union and passed a note to the teller demanding money.

No weapons were displayed and no one was injured, police said. The woman fled with an undisclosed amount of money, according to police.

Police said detectives identified a suspect quickly and conducted an extensive investigation into the robbery. Police also recovered additional evidence from the scene. Officers located Medor later in the evening and arrested her, police said.

Medor was held on a $20,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Sept. 28.
