Pedestrian killed in rollover crash in East Liberty

Pittsburgh police are investigating an early morning crash in East Liberty on Monday that left a pedestrian dead.

The rollover accident happened at the intersection of Penn Avenue and Centre Avenue at around 1:45 a.m., according to Pittsburgh Public Safety.

According to Pittsburgh police, a male, later identified as David Paul McCorkle, 58, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Late Monday, Pittsburgh police gave an update that McCorkle was a pedestrian.

Police are asking that anyone who may have witnessed the crash to come forward, particularly the driver of a silver four-door Chevrolet.
