JSO: Second reported shooting in Magnolia Gardens neighborhood leaves one injured

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported a second shooting in a Magnolia Gardens neighborhood that left one injured after being shot in the head, shoulder and leg.

According to JSO, at around 3:30 p.m., Officers responded to the 2800 block of Begonia Rd. about a person shot.

An adult male was transported to a local hospital suffering non-life-threatening injuries after suffering gunshot wounds to the head, shoulder, and leg.

Based on an investigation by JSO, there was a reported altercation inside the residence of the suspect that led to gunfire. The relationship between the suspect and the victim is currently unknown.

The suspect was taken into custody after the shooting.
