The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of an old school bell from a cemetery in Clarence Township.

The bell, stationed on the grounds of Hunt Cemetery in the 25000 Block of V Drive North, was stolen within the last week, police said in a news release. The bell once belonged to a school at this location.
