Police officer in Wisconsin injured following ‘chaotic scene’ where someone tried to disarm an officer

MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – Two people in southern Wisconsin were arrested after an incident that resulted in an officer suffering a serious ankle injury.

According to the Madison Police Department, an officer was injured after authorities responded to a ‘chaotic scene’. Officers responded to the 2800 block of Hoard Street for a reported disturbance where a person needed to be removed from a home.

It was during this removal that an officer suffered a ‘serious’ ankle injury, according to police. Officials say that the ‘scene chaos’ continued as another person approached an officer from behind and tried to disarm the officer.

This person was arrested. Two people were taken to the Dane County Jail.
