Police: One dead in Hartford double shooting
An 18-year-old is dead following a double shooting in Hartford on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Police were dispatched to the area of 640 Broad Street around 3:30 p.m. on a ShotSpotter activation, according to the Hartford Police Department. Evidence of gunfire was located at the scene, police said.
Two gunshot victims arrived at an area hospital for treatment, police said. One of the victims, identified as Ernesto Morales, 18, of Manchester, was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to police.
The second victim, a man in his 20s, suffered from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was listed in stable condition, police said.
