The collision occurred at the intersection of Keyes Road and Geer Road, about eight miles north of central Turlock, when two 2016 fords collided with each other at the intersection.
According to CHP, a 20-year-old Modesto male driving a Ford Sedan was being pursued by a Ceres Police Officer while heading eastbound on Keyes Road and approaching Geer Road.
A Ford coupe, driven by a 17-year-old male from Hughson, CA was driving southbound on Geer Road toward Keyes Road.
The sedan entered the intersection directly toward the coupe and struck the passenger side of the coupe.
As he was not wearing his seatbelt, the driver of the sedan was ejected from the vehicle along with his passenger, another 20-year-old Modesto male.
Two additional rear passengers in the sedan, also from Modesto, were found with serious injuries and transported to local hospitals from the scene.
The driver of the coupe also received major injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
Investigators are still working to determine if drugs and/or alcohol contributed to the crash.
