Police release name of Kentucky woman who died in weekend crash in Ingham County
WHITE OAK TWP. — A woman who died in a crash Sunday in eastern Ingham County has been identified as Sarah Jo Ramsey of Albany, Kentucky.
Ramsey, 52, was driving east on Howell Road and was struck by a vehicle heading south on M-52 about 6:30 a.m., the Ingham County Sheriff's Office said. The driver of the southbound vehicle, a 35-year-old Grass Lake woman, had the right of way, investigators said.
Ramsey died at the scene. The Grass Lake woman suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation, officials said. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the sheriff's department at 517-676-8202.
