Police Rescue Travelers in Flood-Hit North Indian State

Police said they rescued 45 people who were trapped by flooding while travelling near Nainital on October 19, as heavy rainfall caused deadly flooding in India’s northern Uttarakhand state.

Flooding in the state had killed at least 46 people by October 20, reports said.
