Police respond to Midland Valley High School for bomb threat

Jan. 13—The Aiken County Sheriff's Office responded to Midland Valley High School around 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning after receiving reports of a bomb threat.

The sheriff's office said the threat was written on a bathroom wall.

Midland Valley students were evacuated but returned to class within an hour, according to the school.

No arrests have been made, according to Capt. Eric Abdullah with the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.
