Police identify 72-year-old woman killed in her Dover-area home
A 72-year-old woman found dead inside her Dover-area home Sunday evening has been identified by Delaware State Police as Denise Wood.
While police ruled Wood's death a homicide, as of Tuesday investigators had not released the manner of death.
Police said troopers responded about 5:20 p.m. Sunday to the woman's home on Case Ridge Road in the Wolf Creek neighborhood just south of Dover.
There, police found Wood's body in her bedroom.

Police said suspect information was not available, adding that investigators are asking anyone with information regarding this case to contact detectives by calling (302) 741-2821.
