Police search for 16-year-old from Livermore Falls

Aug. 1—LIVERMORE FALLS — Police were searching Monday afternoon for a 16-year-old girl with autism, according to officials.

Asia Brown of Livermore Falls was reported missing Saturday night. She was last seen at about 8:30 p.m. at her residence on Campground Road, according to Mark Latti, communications director for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife.

Brown is 5 feet 4 inches tall, about 140 pounds and has blond hair and blue eyes. When last seen, Brown was wearing blue jeans and a light-colored T-shirt.

Brown has high-functioning autism and requires medication, according to a statement from the Maine State Police.

An Extreme Alert was issued Monday afternoon stating that anyone in the area of Campground Road in Livermore Falls is urged to check outbuildings and keep an eye out for the girl. Dogs were also brought in to search the area.
