Updated: Police locate ‘vulnerable’ missing man last seen in West Boise
After searching for several hours, Boise police located a man Wednesday evening who was last seen in West Boise.
The Boise Police Department issued a news release Wednesday afternoon saying police were looking for a deaf and mute “vulnerable adult” who had gone missing, according to a Twitter post.
Police searched for Chakubuta, also known as Buta, who was last seen by his caregiver near North Mitchell Street and West Fairview Avenue at around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
About 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, police tweeted that they had found Chakubuta safe.
BPD is searching for a missing, vulnerable adult. Chakubuta or Buta, was last seen in the area of N. Mitchell and W. Fairview around 10:30 am wearing a gray hat, gray pants, black long sleeved shirt.
