Police searching for driver in Reisterstown hit-and-run Thursday

Baltimore Police are searching for the driver of an unknown vehicle who struck and seriously injured a pedestrian on Reisterstown Road Thursday afternoon.

Police found a man, who is not identified, suffering from “massive head trauma” in the 5700 block of Reisterstown Road at around 3:54 p.m., according to law enforcement.

He was taken to Sinai Hospital and remains in critical condition, police said.

Police say the vehicle was traveling northbound on Reisterstown Road as the pedestrian was crossing the street from the west. The vehicle hit the man as he walked into the northbound lane, and continued on without stopping, according to police.
