Police searching for man who walked into Missouri River in Washington, Missouri

WASHINGTON, Mo. – The search goes on for a 28-year-old man who police say walked into the Missouri River in Washington, Missouri.

Family members say he has some mental health concerns. Washington, Missouri, police received assistance from several area fire departments. Officials did find some of the man’s belongings just east of the Missouri River Bridge in Washington.

St. Louis homeowners take legal action against squatters

No other information, including the man’s name, has been released. Riverfront Park, which closed for a time, has now reopened.
