Police searching for suspect after robbery at Regions Bank in Fort Walton Beach
FORT WALTON BEACH — Police are searching for a man who reportedly made off with cash from a local bank after threatening to shoot patrons.
The Fort Walton Beach Police Department received a call regarding a bank robbery Wednesday at Regions Bank on Beal Parkway Northeast, according to a FWBPD news release.

The suspect reportedly demanded money and threatened to shoot patrons in the bank, but no firearm was displayed. The man then fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash.
It is believed the suspect may be homeless and at large, according to the FWBPD. He is described as a white man about 5 feet, 10 inches tall. He was wearing a dark shirt, blue jeans and a black baseball cap.
