Police searching for two suspects in apartment shooting
Herkimer police are looking for two suspects in a shooting that took place Saturday night, according to police Chief Michael Jory.
Police responded to a report of a shot fired at 200 Prospect St. about 10:30 p.m. and were directed to an apartment, where they found a victim with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
He was taken to the hospital for emergency surgery, officials said. Jory said Monday morning that he remains hospitalized and is expected to recover.
