1 of 2 Boston girls reported missing after last being seen outside Marblehead High School found safe

One of two Boston girls who was reported missing after last being seen outside of Marblehead High School earlier this week has been found safe, officials announced Friday.

Janeiry Nicole Torres, 14, was last seen outside the North Shore school around 8 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Boston Police Department. She has since been located.

Zaria Randall, 15, who was last seen outside the school around 7:30 a.m., has not yet been tracked down.

Randall didn’t attend classes that day. She was believed to be traveling with Torres, who also attends the school.

On Thursday, police said the girls may be using the MBTA together, possibly in the area of AMC Southbay and Downtown area.

Randall is described as a Black female with braided hair and clear beads. She was last seen wearing a black coat over a grey hoodie, a long sleeve red and white plaid shirt, and blue jeans/joggers, and carrying a blue Nike drawstring backpack.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact 911 or Boston detectives at 617-343-4328.
