Police: Shoplifting ring walks off with over $6,000 in goods from Lafayette Target store
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — Lafayette Crime Stoppers and the Lafayette Police Department are asking for your help in identifying a group of people they say have stolen thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a Target store.
On the evening of Wednesday, April 17 three individuals entered Super Target at 4313 Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Lafayette. Before leaving the store in a grey Chrysler two of them took multiple items without paying, circumventing all payment checkpoints, authorities said. This resulted in a loss of $657.96 for the store on that date.
Police said these suspects have been involved in numerous other thefts from the same establishment, amounting to over $6,000 in losses.
