Police: Suspect fired gun at 2 people in Germantown, injured 1

GERMANTOWN, Md. (DC News Now) — Police said that one person was injured after a shooting in Germantown on Wednesday.

Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) officers responded to the area of Wisteria Drive and Misty Meadow Terrace around 5:05 p.m.

DC police: Suspect escapes custody, steals bike, holes up on roof

Police said that one male was shooting at two people. One of those people was hit by the gunfire.

Police said that the victim is expected to survive. MCPD said that officers were still looking for the shooter as of 6 p.m.
