Police swarm Hollywood neighborhood after 911 caller reports a shooting

A call to 911 about a shooting has prompted a large police presence in a residential neighborhood in Hollywood.

Police got the call at 5:57 a.m. Thursday, according to the department.

Officers surrounded a home on the corner of South 57th Avenue and Flagler Street with guns drawn, according to WPLG-Local 10.

Investigators are working the scene.

No other details were immediately available.
