SWAT situation ends in North Braddock, homeowner says 2 armed men were inside

Police responded to a SWAT situation in North Braddock on Sunday.

According to Allegheny County police, emergency crews were dispatched to the 400 block of Price Avenue at 12:36 p.m.

The situation started after the person who owned a home on the road called the police and reported two masked men who had guns inside his home.

Police say the man who owned the house told him he has cameras that show him what is going on inside. He was not home when the men entered his house but he was able to see them on the cameras and then reported the situation to the police.

The men inside allegedly disabled the cameras afterward and began a home invasion.

Units officially entered the house shortly before 5:30 p.m. but no one was inside.

Several neighbors had to leave their houses while the police for the situation under control.

No one was injured during the incident.
