Police Use Tear Gas on Protesters on Third Night of Demonstrations in Wauwatosa

Police used tear gas on protesters who gathered for a third night in Wauwatosa, Wisconisn, on October 9, in the wake of a decision by the district attorney not to charge a police officer involved in the fatal shooting of a teenager.

Alvin Cole, 17, was shot dead by police after producing a handgun while fleeing police after an argument at a mall, according to reports.

Local media reported that police used what appeared to be tear gas canisters and pepper balls to disperse the crowd after 8 pm local time.
