Police: Vehicle stolen Friday in Lansing had dog inside

LANSING — Lansing Police are looking for a vehicle stolen Friday afternoon with a dog inside.

The theft was reported from Logan Square Plaza around 1 p.m. Friday and officers said the victim was in a store with the vehicle unlocked and running for the dog's comfort.

The victim said the dog is a Yorkshire terrier.

Jordan Gulkis, a spokeswoman for the Lansing Police Department, said the theft remains under investigation Saturday afternoon.

No make and model of the vehicle was immediately available.
