Police: Woman arrested for hitting man, his car in road rage incident in Prince William County

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — An Alexandria woman was arrested after police say she was involved in a road rage incident where she hit a man and his car with her car.

The road rage situation happened on Feb. 15 around 1 p.m. Prince William County Police Department (PWCPD) officers responded to the 4200 block of Mulcaster Terrace for reports of a hit and run.

After investigating, PWCPD said the victim, a 73-year-old man, was driving when he got involved with another driver, Juana Flores-Montero, 52, of Alexandria. They stopped their cars and got into a verbal spat. Flores-Montero then drove away and hit the man’s car with hers. The man got out of his car and Flores-Montero came back and drove into him and then quickly got away.

The man reported his injuries to be non-life-threatening.

Officers quickly found her nearby and took her into custody. She is being charged with malicious wounding, felony hit and run and hit and run.
