Polish Fest, Locust Street Festival and other things to do in Milwaukee this weekend

1. Polish Fest at Maier Festival Park

Polish Fest returns this weekend, with polka, pierogis, vodka tastings, Polish culture and more at Maier Festival Park. Hours are noon to midnight June 9-10 and noon to 8 p.m. June 11. Admission is $5 from noon to 5 p.m. June 9, $10 from 5 p.m. to midnight June 9, $15 on June 10 ($12 for seniors 55 and older), and $10 on June 11. Children 15 and younger are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Info: polishfest.org.

2. Locust Street Festival of Music and Art

After being canceled for the past three years, the Locust Street Festival of Music and Art is back June 11 from noon to 8 p.m. On tap along Locust Street from Humboldt to Holton avenues in Riverwest: food, drinks, six stages of live entertainment and the popular Locust Street Beer Run. Admission to the festival is free. Info: locuststreetfestival.org.

3. Sommerfest at the Pabst Mansion

It's not a typo; the Pabst Mansion celebrates music and its ties to the historic downtown home with Sommerfest, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 10 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 11. The free outdoor event on the lawn of the mansion, 2000 W. Wisconsin Ave., will have live music, drinks, lawn games, Pabst trivia and more (and the beer garden will be open). Museum tours (for a fee) are also available. Info: pabstmansion.com.

4. Black-Owned Summer Marketplace in the Deer District

Black-owned businesses, food trucks and other vendors will be on hand for MKE Black's first Black-Owned Summer Marketplace of the season, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 11 on the Deer District plaza outside Fiserv Forum. Info: Black-Owned Summer Marketplace Facebook event page.

5. Viva MKE Marketplace

The Wisconsin Hispanic Scholarship Foundation/Mexican Fiesta is hosting Viva MKE Marketplace, a showcase for Latino small businesses. There'll also be live music, food, margaritas and more, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 10 outside Flores Hall, 2997 S. 20th St. Admission is free. Info: mexicanfiesta.org/vivamke.
