Polish ministers screened for coronavirus after one tests positive

WARSAW (Reuters) - Polish ministers who attended the most recent cabinet meeting have been tested for coronavirus after the environment minister said on Monday he had tested positive, the Prime Minister's Chief of Staff Michal Dworczyk said on Tuesday.

Dworczyk said nine of 24 ministers were absent from the meeting, including Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Health Minister Lukasz Szumowski.

"The results should be known today. All these persons remain in quarantine," Dworczyk told public radio on Tuesday morning.

The last government meeting was held on March 10, according to the government's website.
