According to the spokesman, at the beginning of the visit, the Polish prime minister, together with his Ukrainian counterpart Denys Shmyhal, honored the memory of those who died for Ukraine at the Wall of Remembrance near St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery.

“A year after the start of hostilities by Russia, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki went to Kyiv to give a clear signal of further support in the defense of Ukraine against Russia,” Müller tweeted.

Earlier, Bloomberg reported, referring to an anonymous source, that the first Polish Leopard main battle tank would arrive in Ukraine on the same day as Morawiecki’s visit to Ukraine.
