Polish President Andrzej Duda tested positive for COVID-19, an aide announced on Twitter Wednesday.

Duda was previously infected with the virus back in 2020 and is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including a booster shot he received in December.

The aide, Pawl Szrot, said the president is not experiencing severe symptoms and is in isolation.

Duda was tested after he was exposed to others in the office who recently tested positive for the virus.

Johns Hopkins University shows 55 percent of Poland is fully vaccinated, with the country recording 4.1 million cases throughout the pandemic and 98,000 deaths.
