Katie Worthington Decker, the Lakeland Economic Development Council's senior vice president, will speak April 5 to the Republican Club of Lakeland.

The Lakeland-Winter Haven metro area recently ranked as the second-fastest growing place in the country. Worthington Decker has said the biggest problems facing Lakeland during this boom time are infrastructure like roads and diversification of housing, according to a press release from the club.
