Although former President Donald Trump stated publicly on his social media platform Truth Social that he won't be attending the debates, some of his loyal Republican allies will be in attendance at the first GOP presidential primary debate in Milwaukee on Wednesday.

Republican elected officials from across the country are also expected to be in attendance. Well-known media and political personalities and even some prominent Democrats will be in town as well.

Here's who to look out for in Milwaukee and on your screens during debate week.

Top Trump supporters in Congress will be in attendance

NBC News reported Thursday that at least three of Trump's strongest supporters in Congress will be in Milwaukee for the debate. Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Florida Reps. Matt Gaetz and Byron Donalds are expected to be in town.

Greene supported attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 Presidential Election and supports Trump's claims that the election was stolen.

Trump's campaign hasn't announced whether Greene is on their list of potential running mates, but Greene said it would be an "honor" if she was asked to be Trump’s running mate and something she would consider "very, very heavily."

Gaetz is a known Trump ally but was also a top campaign advisor to Ron DeSantis, another 2024 Republican presidential candidate, during DeSantis' successful 2018 campaign for governor of Florida.

In 2018, Gaetz was one of 18 House Republicans who voted to nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for his role in peace talks with North Korea.

Like Greene, Gaetz believes fraud in the 2020 Presidential Election caused Trump's loss. Gaetz and Greene were two of the 21 House Republicans who voted against giving the Congressional Gold Medal to police officers who helped defend the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. In August 2021, Gaetz co-sponsored a resolution by Greene to impeach Biden.

Greene announced Monday that she and Gaetz will host a post-debate analysis at 10 p.m. Wednesday on Right Side Broadcasting Network on Rumble.

Rep. Donalds was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2020 after serving in the Florida House of Representatives since 2016. During his 2020 campaign, Donalds described himself as a "Trump supporting, gun owning, liberty loving, pro-life, politically incorrect Black man."

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Donalds voted to object to the certification of 2020 Presidential Election electors from Arizona and Pennsylvania in January 2021.

Kari Lake, a former Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate who lost the governor's race last year, will also attend the debate, according to a release from her team Saturday.

Lake is a Trump supporter, and she believes both her election loss last year and Trump's loss in 2020 were the result of election fraud.

Lake was recently in the Milwaukee area in late June when she made an appearance at a Milwaukee County Republicans fundraiser in Wauwatosa. There, she praised Trump, saying "he will be our next president."

Although his father won't be attending the debate, the former president's oldest son Donald Trump Jr. teased a likely appearance with his partner Kimberly Guilfoyle on Twitter/X Monday.

Trump Jr. is an executive at The Trump Organization and was active in his father's 2016 and 2020 presidential campaigns.

Following his father's election loss in 2020, Trump Jr. was vocal in his belief that election fraud played a role, tweeting that the "best thing for America’s future" is for his father to "expose all of the fraud, cheating, dead/no longer in state voters, that has been going on for far too long."

On Jan. 6, 2021, alongside his father and other speakers, Trump Jr. spoke at a rally attended by some of the people who stormed the U.S. Capitol later that day.

FOX News will bring its top talent from New York to Milwaukee

A full slate of FOX News network personalities will be in town this week delivering debate coverage and programming from Milwaukee.

Trump's 2016 campaign manager and former Senior Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway will be in Milwaukee as part of a team of FOX News commentators presenting pre-debate coverage on the network's "America's Newsroom" program, according to a release from FOX.

Conway long worked in polling and conservative politics before becoming the first woman to run a successful U.S. presidential campaign.

Conway faced some controversies during her time serving under Trump, including criticism from members of both parties that she'd committed an ethics violation by publicly promoting clothing and products associated with the president's daughter, Ivanka Trump. Conway resigned from her position as Trump's advisor in August 2020, saying it was so she could spend more time with her children.

Conway joined FOX News as a contributor in 2022 and has appeared as a guest and host on many of its programs.

Following the debate, long-time FOX News host Sean Hannity and guests will present post-debate analysis live from Milwaukee at 10 p.m. on "Hannity," the FOX release states.

In 2022, Hannity became the longest-running primetime cable news host in television history. Hannity began co-hosting "Hannity & Colmes" on FOX in 1996, which became "Hannity" in 2009 when liberal host Alan Colmes exited the show.

Hannity was an early supporter of Trump in the 2016 presidential election and was reported to be very close with Trump during his presidency. Hannity reportedly called the White House and spoke on the phone with the then-president most weeknights.

In addition to Conway and Hannity, "FOX & Friends, "The Five," "Fox News @ Night" and other FOX News network shows will have "special broadcasts" from Milwaukee before and/or after the debate this week. FOX personalities including Dana Perino, Bill Hemmer, Trey Gowdy, Karl Rove and Pete Hegseth will be in town.

According to a release from the Biden-Harris 2024 Campaign, Democratic National Committee chair Jaime Harrison, Biden-Harris campaign co-chair Cedric Richmond, mayor of Madison Satya Rhodes-Conway and Democratic Party of Wisconsin chair Ben Wikler will hold a press conference in Milwaukee ahead of the debate.

The press conference will take place Wednesday at noon.

The four Democrats will hold a press conference "as the 2024 GOP field prepares for the first Republican primary debate, where America will be introduced to the most extreme slate of candidates in history," the release said.
