Florida House Speaker Paul Renner has revealed committee assignments for the 2024 legislation session.

Here are the assignments for House members representing Polk County:

Rep. Melony Bell, R-Fort Meade: Education and Employment Committee (Vice Chair); Post-Secondary Education and Workforce Subcommittee; Appropriations Committee; Agriculture and Natural Resources Appropriations Subcommittee (Vice Chair); Health Care Regulation Subcommittee; Water Quality Supply and Treatment Subcommittee.

Rep. Jennifer Canady, R-Lakeland: Education and Employment Committee; Education Quality Subcommittee; Infrastructure Strategies Committee (Vice Chair); Insurance and Banking Subcommittee; PreK-12 Appropriations Subcommittee; Energy, Communications and Cybersecurity Subcommittee; Health Care Appropriations Subcommittee.

Rep. Sam Killebrew, R-Winter Haven: Infrastructure Strategies Committee; Ways and Means Committee; Children, Families and Seniors Subcommittee; Agriculture and Natural Resources Appropriations Subcommittee; Ethics, Elections and Open Government Subcommittee; Rules Committee.
