Polk State College President Angela Garcia Falconetti appointed to state advisory group

Polk State President Angela Garcia Falconetti has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to serve on the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention State Advisory Group.

Falconetti will support Secretary Eric Hall of the Department of Juvenile Justice in the advancement of Florida’s System alongside Advisory Group members.

The Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Advisory Group comprises members appointed by the governor who have training, experience or special knowledge of the juvenile justice system. Their mission is to effectively administer and manage federally allocated funds for juvenile delinquency prevention, ensure compliance with Federal Juvenile Justice Act mandates, Polk State said in a news release.
