The Texas Rangers are aiming for their eighth straight postseason win Wednesday night when they host the Houston Astros at Globe Life Field in Arlington, the third game of the best-of-seven American League Championship Series.
The Rangers won the first two games by 2-0 and 5-4 scores in Houston. Now the next three games are scheduled in Arlington. If the Rangers win just two more, they’re headed to the World Series for the first time since 2011.
