Alabama high school sports: Southside's Taylor Carr wins Gadsden athlete of week

Southside's Taylor Carr has won The Gadsden Times' male athlete of the week poll for Dec. 13-19.

He finished with 28 points and nine rebounds in a 78-55 boys basketball win over Sardis.

Carr won 60.05% of the vote. Glencoe's Andrew Greene was second with 26.42% of the vote.
