Poll: Vote for the Journal's Dec. 26-31 Athlete of the Week

With the winter sports season well underway, and as we welcome 2023, the Journal’s Athlete of the Week poll returns. As the December sports schedule was scattered and the list of nominees is shorter than usual, we’ve deviated from the fall format that included large and small school polls. This week, there’s one all-inclusive poll, but the fall template will return next week.

The list of nominees includes several athletes who shined in holiday tournaments, reached milestones and helped their teams secure big early-season wins.

Voting will be open until 3 p.m. Thursday.
