Pools, lakefront views, multiple garages. A list of million-dollar homes for sale in Erie region

Luxury living is available for a price, and for some homes in the Erie region, the right price is around $1 million. The area always seems to have at least a few single-family homes available that are priced near or above seven figures.

Here’s a look at some of the top-priced homes listed for sale this month, with information available from Realtor.com.

270 Niagara Point Drive

  • Listed price: $1,499,900

This five-bedroom, six-bath home sits on a 0.85-acre lot in the Niagara Pointe Subdivision, next to Presque Isle Bay, and was just listed Oct. 13. The home features a new interior remodel and open floor plan that displays luxury throughout the 5,217-square-foot estate. Built in 2006, the house includes a chef's exquisite kitchen with high-end appliances, a cathedral-style great room and a master bedroom suite with a lounge and wraparound closet. There is also a finished basement, theater room, four-car garage with custom-built cabinetry, an outdoor pool with a slide, a personal gym and more. The home can be sold furnished with art at an additional cost. There are HOA fees calculated at $667 per month and annual taxes at $21,859 per year.

This lakefront home with three bedrooms and three full bathrooms — plus two half baths — is 3,588 square feet and sits on 2.85 acres with a private road to a beach. The two-story brick home was built in 1930, includes a two-car attached garage and a full finished basement. The home has four fireplaces, wood-burning and gas. The backyard features a summer kitchen with a view of Lake Erie. Annual taxes on two parcels are listed at $21,532. The property has been on and off the market since last December, but it was relisted Sept. 2.

8424 East Lake Road, Harborcreek

  • Listed price: $1,249,900

This three-home lakefront estate sits on 16.37 acres and features 10 bedrooms and nine baths (seven full and two half) in total. The homes comprise 8,935 total square feet, including the large main home built in 1930, a front lake home, middle guest home, 10-car garage and a boat house. There is a pool house and in-ground pool. The property, which includes seven fireplaces total in the structures, is heated by an onsite gas well with mineral rights included. This is suited as a rental/investment property or a massive residential estate for a large family. The annual taxes are listed at $18,738. The property has been listed on and off the market several times since October 2018.

4225 State St.

  • Listed price: $1,200,000

This French Normandy structure in Glenwood Hills was built in 1924 and measures 6,062 square feet on a private 5.6-acre estate lot. The seven-bed, 6½-bath home is a solid brick construction, complete with a courtyard and three stories, plus a finished basement, a library with a wood ceiling and a foyer with marble and curved staircase to the balcony. Also included are three fireplaces, crystal chandeliers, an inground pool, hardwood floors, arches, French doors, a butler's pantry and first-floor laundry. A new boiler was installed in 2020. Annual taxes are $14,768 for the property, which was originally listed on June 22.

McKean Township: Estate for sale offers luxury living in the round

The three-bedroom, 2½-bathroom home in Fairview is a 2,507-square-foot property on 13.8 acres that includes woods and a pond, which should please nature lovers. There is access to Walnut Creek and great views from a three-tiered gazebo. Car collectors likely will be interested in the six-car, gas-heated garage and two-car, gas-heated utility hideaway pole building. There is also a horse barn and pole building insulated for storage possibilities. There are two fireplaces in the home, which was built in 1966, and the master suite has a deck overlooking a fenced pasture. The home also includes a second-floor bedroom with balcony. Annual taxes are $6,307 on the property, which has had a $500,000 price drop since it first listed Oct. 29 last year.

Fairview Township: Mansion boasts luxury living with lakeview setting on 10 acres

4919 W. 38th St., Millcreek

  • Listed price: $995,000

The four-bedroom, 4½-bathroom custom-built home by David Haller is located on a secluded 7.23-acre lot in Millcreek. The 4,280-square-foot home, built in 1994, is well off the road, approximately 600 feet, and includes an inground swimming pool and stocked pond. There are two garages, a three-car attached one with basement access, and a 2½-car detached garage with a covered area overlooking the pond. The property also has a gas well that can be used to help heat the house or pool. Annual taxes are $16,947. The home, placed on the market on July 22, is listed as a contingent sale.
