A man was fatally shot while sitting on a Brooklyn park bench by the shore Saturday morning, police said.

Cops found the 50-year-old victim at Coney Island Creek Park on Bayview Ave. near W. 33rd St. around 8:05 a.m., cops said.

He had been shot at least twice in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives found a crack pipe next to his body, police said.

“It was like a pop, pop!” said one neighbor about the shooting, too scared to give her name.

“It’s sad, very sad,” said another neighbor who described the area as very peaceful. “I hope they catch whoever did this. Especially with guns, because bullets can go through walls.”

The victim’s name has not been released but police said he lived in Queens.

There have been no arrests.
