Pope Francis resumed public addresses in St Peter’s Square on Sunday, February 7, as coronavirus restrictions eased in Rome.

The Pope greeted the socially distanced crowd from the Vatican’s Apostolic Palace, saying, “Dear sisters and brothers, good morning, once again in the square.”

Rome remained in a “yellow zone” designation, allowing for restrictions to ease across the city, local media reported. Credit: Vatican News via Storyful
