It's the fourth location owned by business partners Casey Price and Matt Honeycutt, who also have Crumbl stores in New Albany, Hilliard and Grove City.

Price said the pair had an opportunity to open an additional store and said Heath was one of the best locations they could have found because of the growth coming to Licking County.

"We've had so much positive interactions with our community already just since we put up our under construction banners," she said. "It's like people are wanting to rip the doors down."

Honeycutt said guests at their New Albany locations would frequently share that Crumbl should open a location in Newark, Granville or Heath.

"Guests also helped a tremendous amount just with the interaction we have with them over the counter," he said.

Crumbl rotates its menu each week from more than 200 different flavors. The Heath location's initial menu includes milk chocolate chip, original featuring red and pink M&Ms for Valentine's Day, chocolate covered strawberry, confetti, chocolate caramel and New York cheesecake. Some of Crumbl’s specialty flavors include cornbread, cookies and cream, s'mores, key lime pie, peppermint bark, caramel popcorn and many more.

Honeycutt said part of what sets Crumbl apart is that cookies are made from scratch each day.

"We're not buying something, defrosting it and putting it in an oven. (The staff members) been here since five o'clock this morning. Those mixers haven't stopped," he said.

Nearly a dozen employees were mixing batter, baking cookies and helping customers Thursday afternoon. Honeycutt said the Heath location has created 85-90 jobs.

Initially, customers can order in-person inside the store and then starting Feb. 22, delivery, curbside pickup, catering, and nationwide shipping will be available via the Crumbl App and online at Crumbl.com.

Crumbl Cookies was founded in 2017 in Utah and has grown to over 500 locations across more than 40 states.

The store is open from 8 a.m.- 10 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m.-midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. It is closed on Sundays.
