Popular discount designer home décor store coming to Raynham. When it's opening and more

RAYNHAM — If you've driven by the RK Center plaza on Route 44 in Raynham, then you've probably seen the Home Goods sign, indicating the popular chain is coming to town.

The store, located on South Street West off Route 44, will be in that plaza, right next door to Burlington Coat Factory.

Home Goods is known for its discounted, off-price, designer home products, such as kitchenware and appliances, tableware, various non-perishable food products, furniture, bedding and towels and assorted home décor.

When is Raynham Home Goods opening?

The store is expected to open this spring, Home Goods Marketing Supervisor Samantha Abbatessa said via email. She said more information will come out the closer they get to its opening date, which wasn't specified.

The location is currently hiring, and positions can be found on Indeed or at its online corporate career center.

Former Bed Bath & Beyond location

The former use of the building wasn't too far from its future use. The location previously housed a Bed Bath & Beyond, which closed last year as the once popular retail powerhouse struggled financially, eventually shuddering all of its stores nationwide and filing for bankruptcy.

Home Goods is owned by TJX Companies, Inc., which also owns Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Sierra and several other apparel and home products retailers.

There are 56 Marshalls stores in Massachusetts, including one in Raynham on Route 44, as well as seven others in Southeastern, Mass., in Brockton, Fairhaven, Hingham, Marshfield, North Attleboro, Plymouth and Swansea.

There are 52 TJ Maxx stores in Massachusetts, including one in Taunton and eight others in Southeastern, Mass., in Attleboro, Easton, Fall River, North Dartmouth, Plainville, Plymouth, Seekonk and Wareham.
