Popular fast food restaurant opens in East Rochester, bringing 50 jobs to the area

A new fast food restaurant opened in East Rochester this week, creating 50 new jobs.

A newly-constructed Taco Bell restaurant opened at the Piano Works plaza on West Commercial Street in East Rochester on Monday. The eatery is located at 341 W. Commercial St. and has a drive-thru with two lanes.

The new Taco Bell, owned and operated by Hospitality Syracuse Inc., will be open daily, opening at 7 a.m. until 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Breakfast will be available daily from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. The full menu is available starting at 9 a.m.

Food will also be available for delivery through food delivery services DoorDash, Grubhub and UberEats.

Matt Prouty, a partner of Hospitality Syracuse, said the company hired 50 employees and promoted several managers within the company to operate the new restaurant. The company continues to look to hire more workers.

Including the new restaurant there are more than 20 Taco Bells in the Rochester region, according to the Taco Bell website.
