Popular food truck that serves southern macs, melts to open restaurant in Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A popular food truck that has been a staple in Tigerland that serves its award-winning southern mac and melts is opening a new restaurant in Baton Rouge.
The Big Cheezy will be opening a permanent restaurant that will be located on LSU’s campus.
“We have been looking for a location for over a year,” said Blaize Romancik, owner/operator of The Big Cheezy. “We wanted a spot around LSU’s campus, but not just any location, one that matches our company’s vibe. Our concept is not a strip mall kind of concept.”
