This popular Detroit-style pizzeria is coming to north Phoenix and Arcadia. Here's where

In 2020, Sam Fox, the prolific restaurateur behind Zinburger, Flower Child and Culinary Dropout opened Fly Bye as a to-go-only takeout window at The Yard serving Detroit-style pizza and wings.

“I always try to build these restaurants how people will use them,” he said, adding that he introduced additional items like hoagies and new salad options to encourage “more frequency of enjoying and using Fly Bye.”

He’s now opening a brick and mortar outpost of the restaurant at the Desert Ridge Marketplace in north Phoenix on July 14 and will open another location in Arcadia in the fall, according to a press release.

The new locations will have dine-in seating and a new, more extensive menu that will include hand-stretched and gluten-free pizzas, garlic bread, more chopped salad options and hoagies.

Fox is introducing four new pizzas, including the Lebanese Mom, which comes topped with roasted garlic, spinach leaf, feta yogurt, za'atar and marinated tomato.

Customers at the new outposts will also be able to pair their food with wine and beer options, including Wren House Brewing's popular Valley Beer.

If you love the take-out option, fear not, you can still order food on the restaurant’s website for curbside pickup and contact-free delivery from the new locations.
