Popular restaurant chain Twin Peaks plans to open location in Springfield

A public relations representative confirmed the restaurant chain Twin Peaks is hoping to open a location in Springfield.

Twin Peaks is a bar and restaurant chain that started in Texas and serves American food in a lodge-like environment. The chain is known for its crop-top-wearing waitresses.

Tiffany Martinez with Champion Management said Twin Peaks was eyeing the Springfield market with hopes of opening in the first half of 2023. Martinez said in an email last week she did not have address details to share.

City of Springfield building records indicate Twin Peaks could be coming to the old Zio's Italian Kitchen building at 1249 E. Kingsley St.

The city's website shows several building permits for "Twin Peaks Restaurant" from September and October at the Kingsley Street address for things like building project, sewer connection, electrical permit, gas permit, mechanical permit, plumbing permit and fire sprinkler.

Online public records indicate the building on Kingsley Street is owned by a limited liability company whose registered agent is Brian Flavin, chief operating officer of PB&J Restaurants, Inc. in Overland Park, Kansas. An attempt to reach Flavin for comment was not successful.

Twin Peaks is listed under the "Concepts and Franchise Partners" section of the PB&J Restaurants website.
