Black Rifle Coffee opens its 1st Arizona location. Here's what's different about the shop

Black Rifle Coffee Company is a veteran-owned, Utah-based chain founded by Evan Hafer, a former U.S. Army Green Beret. It specializes in small-batch roasting.

Its dark roasted, bold coffee beans imported from Brazil and Colombia coupled with its mission to help former service members have made the coffee popular since Hafer opened his first location in 2014.

"Our culture and mission are built on serving veterans, active military, first responders and those who love America," the company's website says. Black Rifle has pledged to employ 10,000 veterans and supports transitions into entrepreneurship.
