A popular coffee shop from Vietnam aims to bring the taste of authentic Vietnamese coffee culture to the U.S.

The legend has arrived: Trung Nguyên Legend Cafe, a coffee brand with nearly 30 years of history, opened its first U.S. location in Westminster, California, on Thursday.

The café chain boasts four factories and 110 stores in Vietnam while distributing its products to over 60 countries.

Right at home: The 1,300-square-foot café, situated at 9039 Bolsa Avenue in Little Saigon, is ready to welcome patrons daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The menu features phin- and espresso-based coffee drinks crafted from 100% Vietnamese-grown Robusta and Arabica beans from Buôn Ma Thuột in the Central Highlands.

Patrons can enjoy classic offerings like lattes, mochas and cappuccinos, or opt for a truly authentic experience with Vietnamese specialties such as cà phê trứng (Vietnamese egg coffee) and cà phê chồn (civet coffee). The location also exclusively serves cold brew coffee and iced Vietnamese egg coffee.

Importing Vietnamese coffee culture: Los Angeles-based distribution company H & L Wholesale Food Corporation made the franchise possible to bring Vietnamese coffee culture to the U.S.
