While Selena Quintanilla Pérez is no longer with us, her music and legacy continues to be celebrated.

A new two-hour musical program, "Por Siempre Selena," will run on TelevisaUnivision showcasing the Queen of Tejano, the network and Quintanilla family said in a statement to Rolling Stone on Tuesday.

The special will feature stories about Selena's life and tributes to her music 27 years after her death.

TelevisaUnivision has not announced a release date.

The special is not the only new Selena project announced this year. Selena's father, Abraham Quintanilla, said in March that a new Selena album will be released this year with previously unreleased songs and the use of technology to recreate her voice as it sounded before she died.
