  1. Port Jefferson 3rd annual Ice Festival planned was scheduled for this weekend but is canceled due to the winter storm. The rain date is scheduled for Feb. 5-6. Stay safe all!

  2. The village of Port Jefferson Deputy Mayor, Kathianne Snaden, warns the community to stay safe inside if you can. As Long Island prepares for the biggest snowstorm of the year, Snden encourages all to keep food in the house and keep electronic devices charged. The storm will come with heavy winds that along with heavy snow can damage power lines. (News 12 New Jersey)

  3. The Port Jefferson School District wrestling team shone in the Armstrong Cup wrestling tournament held at Earl L. Vandermeulen High School last weekend. “It was great to keep the tradition going and host the Armstrong Cup again this year. Our wrestlers certainly did not disappoint, with outstanding performances across the board. With close to 100 wrestlers involved, it was exciting to see Port Jefferson wrestling dominate the tournament.” said Adam Sherrard, Director of Healthy and Physical Education. (PJ School District)
